Linx-AS Unveils New “Vision” at National Event
Orlando, FL – May 14, 2006 – Envision PLM™—a strategic approach to Product Lifecycle Management leveraging the SAP platform—was the focus of Linx-AS messaging at ASUG+SAPPHIRE 2006. The new tag line and company identity was launched amid the week-long event, which attracted an estimated audience of over 13,000 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Linx-AS (the “AS” denoting Application Solutions) introduced its PLM Vision™ Methodology which is an assessment and planning engagement that takes two weeks or less to complete. The PLM Vision Methodology benchmarks organizations against critical business processes (or process groups), such as New Product Development & Introduction or Regulatory & Compliance. The assessment factors in organizational IT pain points, current & projected landscapes, industry best practices, and resource requirements, resulting in a strategic vision comprised of practical, incremental projects. Each project in the vision has stage-gate ROI requirements to meet so that the ensuing project can proceed.
