In our work with clients over the years, a formula for planning and project success has emerged, and Linx-AS has since packaged these best practices in a structured process, which includes:
- Evaluating the pain points across a business process or set of processes
- Prioritizing the requirements in incremental yet strategic projects that are practical for IT organizations to implement
- Establishing phase-gate success metrics for each project, so the ensuing project can be released
The Visioning Process for EHS
1–2 Weeks. During the Discovery phase, our visioning team and your IT and business representatives will conduct a five-point diagnostic that addresses:
- Best practice benchmarking in EHS business processes and systems
- Business processes improvement analysis
- Compliance risk assessment
- SAP technical audit
- Prioritization of initial requirements/pain points
2–3 Weeks. During Solution Evaluation & Prototyping, the team uses customer data for solution demos to simulate the real-life business application of SAP solutions.
This phase also allows users to interact with a live SAP system, which can accelerate blueprinting for the eventual solution.
1 Week. Based on the learnings from Discovery and Solution Evaluation phases, the Linx-AS team will deliver an environment, health, and safety vision for your organization, which includes:
- Environment, Health, and Safety Vision Strategy (findings, business case, and project road map)
- EHS project plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates
- Executive presentation
